Dr. Smith graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in 1990. He began his practice here in Farmington in 1991 and he has had his practice at this location for over 19 years. He served his internship with Dr. James Warner in Keizer, Oregon from June 1990 until May of 1991. Dr. Smith received an A.A. Degree from Los Angeles Pierce College in Secretarial Science in 1976 and his B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University in 1978. From there he advanced to Dallas, for his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic Care.
Dr. Smith is certified with over 60 hours of advanced training in Whiplash Injuries from Dr. Croft of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He received certification of the Pro-Adjustor treatment in 2007 from the Pro-Adjustor Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Smith is also certified in activator methods and carpal tunnel treatment.
Dr. Smith is a current member of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies include fishing, singing in choirs including the Farmington Caliente Community Choir and woodworking. He has been married to his lovely wife for 45 years and they are the parents of 9 adopted children and 20 wonderful grandchildren. He is an active member of the LDS Church here in Farmington and has served in many various positions of service.
